Mary and her ukulele, hails all the way from Provincetown, Cape Cod, Mass, where she appears regularly at the Coffee House sessions at The Mews Restaurant.
Her soft melodious voice, the twinkle in her eye and her humorous lyrics had the audience silent and riveted.
Then she had them to join in with an audience participation song written originally for kids, “Where have all the Beluga Whales gone?”
Fortunately for everyone, the song ended when we got down to where have all the “Bladder Flies” gone!
In Kevin’s’ words.
“I am an old new wave musician who lives above Life Cafe in the East Village.” Kevin brought the trash out and the house down with his songs “from when I used to play out more”; whilst his skit version of ‘Brown Eyed Girl” reminds the reviewer it would indeed be possible to die of an ear-worm, you know when you get a tune stuck in your head. Thanks. Kevin don’t stay upstairs, come down and play out with us more often!
In Davids’ words.

Glenda is a Cuban born singer and we learned this style together while living in Miami. We strive to carry on the profound legacy of this brilliant and heart-breaking music.
