Bennett Lafond is a visual artist working primarily in oils and watercolour.  Born in Seattle, WA, and recently graduated from Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver, BC, he now works and  lives in Bushwick, Bk.

Through his paintings Bennett explores the nature of light and time. His light series aims to evoke the macroscopic through the beautiful and unassuming minutia that surround us in our everyday life. He finds himself fascinated with the light that finds its way through such a grand cosmic expanse to become something almost unnoticeable infiltrating our domestic space.
